Transformation and Renewal--“Chenguang Metal Coatings” 2026+ Color Launch

On January 6, 2026, at the FAW Jiefang Commercial Vehicle R&D Center in Changchun, “Chenguang Metal Coatings” met with department heads of production, design, procurement, and finance from “FAW Jiefang” to jointly explore new directions for commercial vehicle colors during this period of intense industry transformation.

Centered on the theme of “Transformation and Renewal,” the launch event presented Chenguang Metal Coatings’ latest color development achievements to partners, based on nationwide research and analysis of commercial vehicle color trends. The company proposed color trend forecasts for 2026–2027, along with new color design strategies and solutions for commercial vehicles.

Inspired by five themes that resonate deeply with consumers—Resource Crunch, Subtle Evolution, Galloping with the Wind, Community Online, and Dream City—a collection of 12 new colors was launched. Each color was detailed with its design inspiration, color composition, cost, and application specifications. The new color palettes were met with strong enthusiasm from partners, with several colors already generating initial purchase interest.

The meeting also included productive discussions on “Automotive Color Innovation and Cost Control.” Both sides agreed that outstanding color value should not only capture attention but also convey advanced material technology and reflect superior coating craftsmanship. True color excellence must strike a balance between cost of quality, user needs, and technological progress. It is hoped that these colors not only strike a chord with users but also unlock new value for our OEM partners.
